Hope Community Services and headspace Kalgoorlie celebrate Wear It Purple Day.

Wear it Purple Day is an annual LGBTIQA+ awareness day for young people. The movement was started in Australia and encourages supporters to wear purple to celebrate diversity and young people from the LGBTIQA+ community. The Day is organised by Wear it Purple, a student run, not-for-profit organisation, providing presentations and workshops.

We believe that it's important to show our support for young LGBTI people on days like this by wearing purple, letting them know that we accept you and value you for who you are.
