What's the role?

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and well-credentialed a General Practitioner (AHPRA certified), with a passion for youth, young adults and Mental Health to join the team at headspace Upper Coomera.

Each day you will work with young people and adults aged between 12-25 providing holistic mental, physical and sexual health checks under the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), as well as providing guidance and recommendations. You will be working with a well-established and professional multi-disciplinary team and you will be supported by a passionate Practice Manager and wider team.

As an experienced and passionate GP you will bring:

• Bachelor of Medicine (or similar degree)
• Membership with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Passion and experience with working with children, youth and young adults
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience in performing health checks
• Have a Medicare provider number and ABN
• Have professional indemnity insurance
